Cancellation, Exchange, Return, and Refund Policy
Cancellation
Buyers have the option to cancel their purchases on MarketStreet.com.my before the status of the Product is set to "Processing." Once the purchased Product enters the "Processing" status, the cancellation request will be subject to the Seller's approval and MarketStreet's policies. In the event of any disagreement between the Seller and MarketStreet, the policies shall prevail. Buyers are advised to read the respective store's terms and policies for more information on canceling an order.
Exchange and Return
Buyers may request the return or exchange of a product within 1 (one) day from the date of receipt, as indicated by the courier tracking information. Returns or exchanges are permitted only in the case of defective products or incorrect deliveries. To initiate a return or exchange, the Buyer must provide relevant documents such as the consignment note from the courier tracking, images showing defects in the original packaging, images of the unopened parcel upon delivery, and images of opened parcels with the packaged products. Sellers are required to respond to return or exchange requests within 1 (one) day. Failure to respond will be considered as acceptance of the request, and MarketStreet will proceed accordingly with refunds or exchanges.
Refund Process
Once the Seller has received the returned Products and followed up on the return or exchange request, they may postpone the process for valid reasons such as settling delivery fees or verifying the return of free gifts. In such cases, MarketStreet's Customer Service center will coordinate with the Sellers to determine appropriate refund actions based on the relevant policies. If the Seller disputes the return or requests for a refund or exchange, MarketStreet may postpone the refund process upon submission of suitable evidence. Refunds will be processed following applicable policies and specific procedures.
Product Pickup and Disposal
If a Buyer sends a Product for return to MarketStreet due to a valid reason and delivery to the designated recipient is not possible, the Buyer must notify MarketStreet to arrange for Product pickup within 5 (five) business days. Failure by Sellers to respond within the specified timeframe may result in MarketStreet permanently disposing of the corresponding Product. In the case of faulty or unsafe Products, MarketStreet may require the Seller to recall their entire stock and bear associated costs.
Responsibility for Costs
The costs associated with returns and refunds will be borne by the party responsible for the return request. Buyers are responsible for returns due to a change of mind, while Sellers are responsible for returns due to defects in the Product, delivery delays, or the delivery of the wrong or different product. In cases of exchanges due to defects or incorrect products, the Buyer must return the Product to the Seller, who must use a shipping company selected by MarketStreet and provide the tracking number to facilitate the process.
Warranty and Perishable Products
Perishable products do not come with a warranty and must be consumed within a specific time frame. Examples of perishable products include fresh produce, meat, seafood, dairy products, and baked goods. Non-perishable products may have applicable warranties, and Buyers are advised to refer to the respective seller or store's terms and conditions for further information.
MarketStreet's Role
Please note that MarketStreet operates as a facilitator for buying and selling activities. Buyers must carefully read product descriptions and the store's terms and policies before purchasing. If a Seller violates any of MarketStreet's terms and policies, and the Buyer and Seller cannot reach an amicable resolution, MarketStreet will intervene and work towards resolving the conflict. Buyers and Sellers should make every effort to resolve issues directly with each other.
